Jose, thanks! I owe you some back. Tom, most people add 1-2 TEAspoons of lime per gallon of fresh water. After the settling of precipitates, the clear limewater is usually dripped into a sump. The link in my first post of this thread has more info. Dean |

I'm with Jose on this one. I add a bunch of it, let it sit in a bottle for a day or two with a airbubble thing mixing it up about 4-6inchs off the bottom of the bottle, so the excess can settle. I never wash the bottle out just keep adding more mix and more water. Then I add it to my ghetto dripper and its a wrap. 1 gallon gets me through 2 days. Hope this helps.

I think I'll pass on the pickled burgers. But who is bringing the pickles? Something that would have gone forgotten if it wasn't for this thread! BC

Sorry about not being able to bring the lime to the BBQ, but I had an emergency out of town. In any case, I've received the lime and can bring some into Manhattan for pick-up any day. Also, I may be able to deliver Wed. 6/8/05 afternoon; just PM me your address so I can best arrange a deliver route. Each bottle is $4.50 for those who haven't paid. Dean |
