Black Blob Hitchhiker

I found this hitchhiker in my tank and I'm wondering whether anyone knows what it is. I have a slight outbreak of cyano in my tank recently so I'm been using a turkey baster to siphon it out. I see a black blob right next to my SPS and I try and siphon it. To my suprise this thing moved. It's dark dark black, flat and a pancake and I can't even move it. Like a suction cup, this black blob hugs against the live rock, can move it an inch. I'm going to try and take a picture of it, but what you'll see is a black blob. I want to know if it's reef safe or simply a hitchiker that has eluded me for the past three years.
