looking for a 90 gallon rubbermaid tub to make into sump

i have a 90 gallon tank, do you think 90 gallon sump is good enough. its gonna be in the basement...i work crazy hours so i dont wanna worry about evaporation..

Whether your tank is 10g or 1000g evaporation will effect salinity. You should look into an Auto Top Off to keep that in check then it shouldn't matter what size sump you want to use within reason. The more water volume you have the more stable it'll be however it's still something to think about no matter what amount.

I have a 5 gal ATO resevoir on my 120g system that will last me 2 - 3 days.

ok..so ive been having trouble chooseing a auto top off. could you tell me what you have, and if it was not too hard to set up. i have a 20gallon laying around i could use for that. so maybe ill purchase a 50 gallon to use as a sump then. thank you for ur help

I have a 155 Bow Front rr with a 30 g sump & 10 g ATO works great for me. The one I got was inexpensive, easy to put together, and protects my pump as well should I forget to refill the 10 g. Click on the link.
