1. Turn off the recirc pump so that there is no air in the skimmer
2. Set the water level to the point where the main body of the skimmer begins to taper.
3. Turn the recirc pump back on.
4. Fine bubbles should be touching the bottom most part of the collection cup.

- Depending on you take your skimmate wet or dry depends on the how high you keep you the water.
- The higher the water level in the body, the wetter the skim will be, the lower the water lever, the dryer and darker the skim will be.

It should not make and difference in concern to the height of the water in the skimmer.

However, if the height in the skimmer is not consistent due to the gravity feed then yes.

Also, are there any large bubbles coming from the gravity feed? Does the feed have a prefilter for large objects?

It is just as the signature says. Free Delivery to the 5 boroughs.

Since he is not in the five boroughs (to the best of my knowledge) there will be a shipping fee. I also gave him the option for pick up.

There aren't any large bubbles ( when all the adjustments including the return are done ) but there isny a prefilter on the line. I'm not really sure how I would put on in.The drain comes from an in tank overflow box so does that count?

I was curious to see if there was debris or food disrupting the foam production in the skimmer.

Have a pic of the skimmer in action?

I ordered some air mufflers for you as well.

oh thanks. how much are they ? i'm too beat to actually do anythng more than sit a the computer today. tomorrow i will go fiddle around and post a picture.
