Jbj 12g New LED- question from UK

Just ordered one of these from the Us of A.....and luckily its got it here unshattered! I Kept Marine fish two decades ago and boy things have moved on!!!

Would love a vibrant, colourful little reef with no disasters so all of your help, patience and experience would be greatly appreciated.

I've unpacked the new tank from the box and have some initial observations.
1. The lighting looks pretty blueish from the 8 LEDs......is that ok?
2. The lights are. Either all on or all off....no way of going night look.....or is that why it's blueish to start with?
3. The fans don't come on with the lights so I assume they're on a thermostat?

Any help appreciated.

So here's the plan. I'm going to take things super simple.

Filtration- 10-12lbs of live rock and weekly water changes. no skimmer, nothing else.
Lots of water movement via a Vortech MP10, hydor flo *on the pump return and I've swapped out the standard pump for a 900 lite per hour one.
Plan is to have some colourful corals and a couple of fish and NO PROBLEMS

Any thoughts?
