Ive started making a few terrariums for my apartment. I had a few plants that were not doing well in the original vases/etc so I replanted them in new, bigger vases/containers.
Ive now found that I want to make a few terrariums, so I have just begun the building process.
I have a succulent open air "terrarium" that I am waiting for and I am waiting for delivery of a closed jar type glass thing that I will be turning into a closed wet/high humidity closed terrarium.

This all started with a planted succulent that was not doing well in the small square glass container that I had from 3.5 years ago... It had clearly out grown it's original container so I moved it into a large apothecary jar with no top...it's very happy and is very cool looking now.

I'll post a picture at some point.

Anybody else into terrariums?

Very Nice.
Always loved them.
Here is one I made from a jellyfish tank. (I dropped and broke it before I could dial it in though).
The other is a centerpiece prototype Im making for our wedding in May @ LI Aquarium.

I have a ton of this wood coming tomorrow and huge variety of airplants next month. Ill be making quite a few terrariums after the event.

Thank you!

The opening is only 3", so it was very hard to actually put the succulents inside.... I did the best I could. The piece of wood is drift wood, I found on the beach, during a recent trip the fianc
