HAHA! That's right! Yes! hahaha. Die you inferior cockroaches! ![]() Seriously though think of the insane amount of vegetation consumed by the dinosaurs. Now think of the insane amount of methane that was likely produced by a heard of 30 tons animals chowing down. Keep in mind the effect of cattle on the gaseous makeup of our planet. Hmmmm. The truth of the matter is that we are merely inhabitants of a glass cage. Sure we can rearrange the rock, move some of the sand and look back and awe at the changes we've made to our environment. But just like a burrowing fish, we can't do much. In a mere instant all the rocks can be removed, the water changed and the tank wiped down. It can be made a salt water tank, a fw tank, a terrarium, a coldwater tank, a habitat for ice dwelling animals or a bug tank as has happened many many many times in the past. If there is a g-d he can't make up his mind on what type of animal to keep in his tank. Right now it's a hamster tank full of mammals building things on the land part and ocean on the rest. When he gets bored he'll try something else. Just like the hamster who moves all of his bedding to one side of the cage, in an instant you can chuck him to your cat and make it a reef tank. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

Did anyone catch the show on Discovery about the scatlands (sp?) in Montana? It was about how a body of water twice the size of the Great Lakes combined broke through a glacier dam and emptied out in 24 hours. The flood waters went as far as Mexico. I've tried searching for a link but no hits. If someone find one please post it. Steven

Fitz, You saw the show I was talking about? Do you remember the name? That had to be one of the best shows I've seen in awhile. Steven

I don't remember but it was more about them trying to figure out what caused the bizarre formation in the landscape if I remember correctly. The last half of the show focused on how the entire landscape was created from a sudden and COMPLETELY unimaginable amount of water passing over the land. The imagery was truly staggering. Ugh now I've got to try and find it.. |

It's amazing how those humongous rocks got tossed around like pebbles. To think all that chaos started with a drip.
