Reefer Ratings: (5) Friends: (8) | bashana hab'ah b'yonkers???
While the content of this invitation seems very jewish, this thread and invitation are for everyone! It is a tradition in my family to invite ALL to seder (the traditional retelling of the story and miracles of the days and events leading up to the passover, when the children of israel (according to the text) left slavery in Egypt... and the eating of an INCREDIBLE meal together) - Jews and non-Jews as well. So, that said, i'm just wondering - would anybody like to participate in a MR seder next year? I would be willing to host (though maybe not in my home - not so big a home, but we'll see) a traditional reef-conscious eco-seder. (if you're confused, GOOD! so am I....) Just kidding. truly, though, i was thinking - every other year I go to my folks for the s'darim (hebrew plural for seder), so this year I'm off to Florida, but next year, I'm home. I try to do one seder super traditional and the second night, I try to do something completley untraditional but still keep the order/flavor of tradition in tact. I love to have friends to seder, and if you're interested, let me know and i'll start working on ideas for the special MR hagaddah!!! Hag Sameah, happy holidays to all -- may you find your way out of the narrow waters, as I hope to leave them myself very soon. (funny how every year we seem to get ourselves back into slavery... hmmmmmm) may the holiday season bring peace and joy and comfort to all who seek it. Happy Passover and Happy Easter! -tahl |
