The last few times I dove around here I used a dry suit.I used the thick wet suit even in florida because I get cold very quickly.

You need to put down those cave dive guides when diving around here, lol. For me i want to get certified for diving the reefs. My dream would be the Great barrier Reef, minus the great white sharks, lol.

I don't like longboards, so I have a 7'0" funshape with a wicked single fin for mushy days or when I'm lazy. I really liked the length of that board, so I got a 7'0" glassed fin thruster for bigger days when I want to carve instead of cruise. So with 2 7'0" boards, the shortboarders call me a longboarder and the longboarders call me a shortboarder. If I pick the right board on the right day... I call me the guy who catches the most waves.

That's like saying once you play darts you'll never play chess. One is easily accessible to people and there's not much to learn. The other is more involved, more of a challenge and more gratifying to some.

If you want to dive wrecks here, you need to have some dives under your belt, learn how to use specialized gear (drysuit, lift bag, reel), be educated on different gas mixes (nitrox and trimix) and be willing to deal with colder water, rougher seas, and low visibility.

Most people play darts.

Those fish are nice! I also really like WRV boards and might make one of those my next board. Both of my boards are pretty retro... the funshape is made by Gregg Loher and everyone who rides it wants to buy it from me. It's pretty dinged up but still rides like a beast, although pulling a bottom turn is like trying to turn a semi. If you ever want to head out to the Rockaways let me know... If I can get my schedule back to normal I'm down for DP most days.
