That time is here again and my 2nd episode of LA INK will be airing this coming Tuesday, October 4th, at 10pm. And I think it's the best episode of the season. First, it contains what is probably the best inking client so far: it's not her tattoo that matters - it's the getting to it. She thinks she wants to get it to make her giant Nordic boyfriend Thor happy. Kat and Pixie will have none of that and stage an intervention to talk her out of it. Hilarity ensues. As Corey put it: "Feelings and intentions were discussed and it turned into a whole bunch of crap!" This one is a must-see. And on the personal front Kim looks to jump-start her love life and goes out on a double-date with Kat. Kim's date is Mike Escamilla, a BMX champ, and Kat's new love is Orbi, dubbed "Freedom Rock" by Mike. (Orbi is a rocker musician and happens to be Roy Orbison's son.) They go to drag-queen bingo. How can you go wrong with that?! So tune in! Oh, and buy the series at the iTunes store! |

So, while LA INK is on hiatus (still 4 new episodes to air) I've moved to MIAMI INK for a little while. And what do I find out my first day on the job? Ami has set up a saltwater aquarium at his house! It looks like a 180, though possibly larger. This will likely be featured on one of the episodes currently in production. It looks like a community reef. Do you think better of him now?? ![]() |
