Thank you Amex!!

my co-worker comes by and asks what credit card i used...i used amex and he reminded me that i had buyer protection on it...i explain my situation to the amex service rep. and after a 5 minute wait she comes back to announce that she was glad i called today as today is the 90th day from the purchase - tomorrow it would have expired. they will be issuing me a credit for the phone.

That is AWSOME man. Lucky YOU! People often forget that CC's have extra coverage. I know that MC gives you extended Manufacturer warranty

I did Chief, thank you very much. The only thing I need now is the police report and I'm all set.

WOW you are lucky your friend mentioned that, and your lucky you used amex.

sorry about the phone being taken, but things could have been worse.

Now just hope no one goes through the phone and gets any personal info they can use.

you will need to file a police report in order to protect yourself from any calls the thief made from your phone, otherwise it will be on your next statement
