Thanks for the tip. I thought there was a safety issue involved with using both methods at once. Whats a three point safety belt? Is that what I was talking about - the non locking belts?

No, the reason to take the car was not to check if it had a LATCH but to try the seat and see if it can easily and securely connect to the LATCH - see my earlier post for the reason.

Congrats Awilda!!! I think the Britax is the best for the money bit more expensive but it good for an infant seat, toddler and booster. I just gave mine away to my wifes friend. I got mine at buy buy baby. Good luck Joe
