I don't think Wingo sees amex screwing with his credit as being superficial.

Not every thread in the nudibar is superficial, that's a misconception you came up with on your own. The nudibar is the area in MR to post non reef material. Yes there are some nudibar threads that are completely for fun, however the same posting rules apply in the nudibar as they do in the rest of the site.
