Who do you have now Zany? I had the Verizon DSL and went to the Fios (basically the same company) and the ony difference is the internet now costs me more money if I single that payment out (but I have the package deal, so technically it is less...) I wish I could say that it is faster than the Verizon was. Could he be because the entire area down here is totally rewired for Fios already and it's faster almost by default??

Fios is definitly faster then DSL. But it also depends the speeds you request the type of computer your using and what you are doing. If you upload photos you have a larger dedicated upload bandwidth DSL up link is usally smaller. I uploaded 9 gigs of photos in a matter of about and hour and half. it use to take me 4 to 6 hours. on cable and the connection would keep dropping. Plus now comcast is going to set 250 gig usage limits on there internet. Which for me would be very bad since I go thought that in about a week. on uploads alone. try a bandwith tester to see if it is giving you the same speeds and you pay for. They could have made a mistake.

i have fios for tv, internet, and phone.

loves fios tv...

fios just added a gang of HD channels. I think its only the NYC area thats getting these channels. but its friggin sweet because i got them in jersey.

Just the speed of flipping through channels without having 3 seconds lag( as compared to IO cable) was enough for me

as for the internet i couldnt see myself needing anything faster....for now

basicallyi think its way better then what local cable has been offering.
