Check out realtor.com and look at rentals. There are a thousand places to look at on the web. Also check the New York Times Classified.

UES is mostly rental companies and lots of luck. Don't go above 96 street on the east side either because the neighborhood is still rough.

Hey Real, i'm sorry to say that it's almost impossible to find an apartment for $1200. Alot of people think that's some kind of cheap sales tactic that's used but it's really not. You're gonna have to go above 96th st to find prices like that. I mean, there are places out there for 1200 but it's literally gonna be about 250 sq ft. The best bet is to look in queens such as Astoria or Jackson Heights. Rent it while it's cheap because this summer is gonna be brutal for renters! An avg studio start at about $1500 and that's pretty much bare bottom. Hope this has helped in some way. |
