man this guy went for 3000. only 7 came into this country.he is headed to a 1300 gal tank. and i understand that it may be yearsssssss before we see them again. it took me 19 years to see 1....he is a cute little thing, pretty bold....eats like a pig, but then again he is a close relative of the sailfin/yellow tang so hardy is not a question.
hey mike how is my big black pig doing???? i am trying to get pics of the fish i got from you, damn, they can be fast for the camera. but i am gonna get some pics today if i got to camp out in front of the tank all day. my new larger tank comes in on wednesday.(i think my wife is either sick, or she is just giving up)

Didn't she realize that our disease IS contageous?

$3000 for a close relative of the sailfin/yellow tang? I'm sorry, but IMO, money and brains don't necessarily go together.

true, but then again they never have..... from what i hear, the reason they are so expensive is not only because there are not so many around, but where they come mostly from is a very dangerous place to be with a lot of violence shooting killing maiming ya know all the fun stuff we used to do when we were young . tell blackie i said good morning, and he just missed a banquet of squid. but he can catch the next one. by the way, mike the hippo is one of the most beautiful hippos i have ever seen...his blue is soooooooooo deep. i took a pic last night and the blue looked electric. i will post it now so you can see what i mean.
once again mike thanks for all you do.

My pleasure.

Can't wait to ship blackie out tomorrow. I can't afford to keep feeding the fat pig.
