Reefer Ratings: (0) Friends: (0) | Thanks for a great Bandit Angel
I received the bandit on Tuesday March 19th and the angel is doing very well. Most reviews say they are difficult to get them to eat and I was fortunate to get a great specimen from Michael. Michael: thanks again for supplying a beautiful fish and the communication was great throughtout the purchase (pre & post). Look forward to another purchase in the very near future. Here is an account of how it started to eat and some pictures. Day 1 & 2: The bandit didn't eat the 1st day as expected and spit out frozen mysis the 2nd day. Day 3: It would only take in a couple of very small pieces of frozen food and wouldn't even look at the slightly bigger pieces. Day 4: It ate a few pieces of small pellets and small frozen mysis and marine cuisine. Day 5 morning: It went after small pellets off the sandbed and rocks and ate freeze dried mysis (small pieces only). The last couple of days I've been cutting back on soaking with vita-chem and garlic. Day 7 night: It started to eat nori tied to small mag float. Day 9 night and Day 10 this morning: It started going up to the top to eat freeze dried mysis and plankton rather than wait for it to sink. Day 1 ![]() ![]() Day 7 eating nori ![]() ![]() |

Just a question how are you meeting it's dietary needs of sponges?
