j if you take a FTS now it will make for a great before and after comparison when you get your LR in there.

there's not much to see in a FTS now, the rocks are not scaped very nicely.

I'm waiting for all the rock to finish cooking, then in a month or so I'll have a new aquascape to show you. Till then the tank is bascially a holding tank. not much to look at.

andres, yes there is sand

it's about 50 pounds of ESV's calcium carbonate reef sand. it varies in depth from 3" to nothing in some areas.
I'll probably add some more when the rest of the rock goes in. Right now I could not take looking at the blank black starboard anymore so I put some in just to cover it.

If anything it's a SSB over a BB, a BBSSB

I assume you've got a macro lens for your camera - what are the spec on that, out of curiosity?
