Jon, welcome back bud. The colors are looking outstanding. And I agree with everyone, a FTS now is great for comparison later.

The star leg is awesome. Nice macro shooting. My mandarin has never (in over 2 years) been photographed. He see's my camera coming from across the room and scurries away.

J they are a very pic, and beautiful Croal.. But for a newbie like me, I would like to know what are those croal are.. It would be nice if there's a name next to each pic.. Hope I am not asking alot here.. But this is MR. Of course I am not asking alot.. lol

liisa, it's a tamron 90mm f2.8, it's a decent macro lens. I 'd like to get a longer one to reach further back into the tank.

Russ, mine also. But since I put some sand in the tank he's out front all the time. I've got some amazing shots of him now. Jose is a star

Mak, sorry i put up the pics fast and did not label anything. though to be honest I need help sometimes to Id a lot of the stuff in my own tank

awww.....shucks

those sand sifting stars need a really mature sand bed as they are heavy eaters. my tank is still new enough that they would eat all of the other beneficial things in my sand bed pretty quickly and then starve to death. typical newbie lament..."i can't have anything yet... :-("

Can anyone idenitifed those coral for me?? They are soo beautiful and I would like to know what they are..
