wtf lens

My uncle just came from Austria and he wants a lens for his canon 400d. In europe they are expensive!!! so where is the best store to go to to try out different lens? and whats a good lens if he already has the efs 18-55mm. hes looking for maybe a 28-135mm. how much would that go for and where is the best deal i can find this lens at?

do some research on www.dpreview.com on the canon lens.

I get most of my stuff at B&H on 9th ave.
