They only need to be fed about once per month, maybe twice per month at most....thats $8-$18 per month....I dont think that is expensive

It kind of bothers me that people feed them starfish,in the wild,they might have to but in captivity,they don't have to.As beautiful as they are,I would never buy one.My wife would be so mad if she saw me feeding starfish to those shrimp

2 shrimps a month at 18 bucks equals out to 216$ a year.Personally I'd rather spend that on a nice hard to find coral.The worst part is finding a starfish when you need it in a pinch.If one LFS store doesn't have one you have to treck all over looking for one which will costs you in time and gas.I had one before I turned the tank into a reef and speak from experience.Just my opinion.To each is own I guess.We are all adults here and are capable of our own decisions.They are beautiful and wish you the best of luck.
