Same here, I have tried and I'm never successfull. And when I looked into a macro lens I was told there were none for my Canon Powershot S3 IS.

my s5 takes great pic's if it is within 5" of the glass in super macro, need to get the lense kit myself,

IMO the macro lens is excellent for things that don't really move but capturing fish is a whole other headache

There has to be a trick to it using this camera just one of us that have this camera have to figure it out and share the secret....

i was playing with the settings and under SCN mode if you < > left or right theres an aquarium setting.. not sure about any other models..

awi i know what you mean, the RSM thread tranfered to a diff forum not to long ago..
