that star fish is insane, what kind is that? Is it in the open areas and visible often?

Yes it usually is visible and in open areas. I never really got the chance to identify it. its all purple and is thorny sort of like a chocolate chip starr but all purple.. ill google it now just for the heck of it. lol

post some more pics if you have them, it looks so cool. It looks like you have a non-coral tank, so do you know if its reef safe?

I will snap some more pics a lil later tonite... Im not sure if its reefsafe... I have 2 fish only tanks at the moment... if i get anymore info on it ill let ya know. thanks
