Yes it usually is visible and in open areas. I never really got the chance to identify it. its all purple and is thorny sort of like a chocolate chip starr but all purple.. ill google it now just for the heck of it. lol | |||

I will snap some more pics a lil later tonite... Im not sure if its reefsafe... I have 2 fish only tanks at the moment... if i get anymore info on it ill let ya know. thanks | |||
