2 weeks after LR added ph 8.3 NO2 1ppm NO3 60 ppm NH4 0 So ammonia still at 0 but Nitrates have gone way up. Time to do some water changes and then add a cleanup crew?? (that's a question ![]() |

Yes, at this point your tank is cycled and you need to get down your Nitrates. Do a couple of water changes and siphon out any junk on the bottom or on the rocks that you can see. If you have a protein skimmer you should be running it, this will help get the nitrates down also. Before adding any inverts get the nitrates down, otherwise they maybe die from the high nitrates. |
