Unfortunately both of those guys don't know anything about saltwater. I try to teach them something everytime I go there. I want then to get rid of that anemone problem and get some more diversified livestock.
I guess it is hard to hire knowledgable people for minimum wage.

They Suck They Sold Me A Half Bleached coral when i didnt know anything about corals

Also they know nothing over there i look like a pro over there and im still learning

i had to bring this thread back because i just remembered something, one of the workers their i asked him a stupid question, i said would the sabae clown rub on that type of anemone? and the guy said yea but only clowns and triggers rub on anemones

I was at pets the other day. I bought 2 bartlets, 1 rose anemone(large) and a redferd goby. What a difference. They hired a guy from Fish Town(Jay) to run they fish dept. Honestly a month ago I went there and it was pure crap(ich, dirty, crappy selections, and the staff didn't know to much and still don't except for jay) It seems to somewhat better now. He seems to know his stuff. Just my 2cents.

Ever since the 2 knowlegeble workers high tailed it to Aquarium Adventures and they elimnated the 25% off discount, there has been no good reason to go back.

Pets had a 25% discount? or did Aquarium Adventure stop doing the 25% discount with membership?. Aquarium adventures pricing is so unreal even with the 25% discount. The only time I will shop at Aquarium adventure is in December when they have the 40% off. Nice stuff though and there staff really does know there stuff.

Or could it be that I keep going to Aquarium Adventures at the wrong time.

Anything is possible.
I haven't been to New Hyde Pets, think I'll stop by one of these days.

"Had" is the key word. But yes, they had for at least 2 consecutive years a sign posted for 25% discount on livestock.
