How long do you think it would take to blow a bulb??? just wondering how long I got untilI need to get a new ballast...

I have no idea, I personally never used the combonation before, just have read on RC.

You should call or email Advance Ballast and ask them the question.

I was under the assumption that the M90 or M59 was a ANSI rating. It is a type of magnetic ballast that will run HQI bulbs.

If I were to replace my ballast and want to save myself a couple bucks over the years, I would go with Icecap E ballasts.

The second ballast I had I just wired up and it didn't work. So I just have 1 400 watt still running on my 180gal...Looks like shhhh Even with the lumenarc reflector that reflector made it look dimmer, or maybe it's just not letting as much light out from the top anymore...Will post pics of my new hood when done on tuesday....
