what lenght, how many bulb's how long has it been hooked up ? do you have a extension on it ? heat sink ? where is it mounted ? http://www.icecapinc.com/document2.pdf

if you turn the power on, does it turn on for a second and then turn off? or nothing at all? You can try swapping with bulbs you know that works. Otherwise check the connections to make sure nothing became loose. |

With your ballast mounted under the tank, is it possible that it got wet somehow? Maybe the wire harness connection got wet (not necessarily the ballast). swimmer

Were they working all day with no flickering? check the connections at the bulbs. what type of sockets are you using? If you installed the wire into the socket then pulled it out the blades in the housing will not make solid contact once reinserted. Remove the socket housings and straighten the blades. It really could be alot of things. Just starting at the basics. |

that means 1 bulb is bad, if you change the bulb it will turn on. always keep an extra bulb handy for that reason, Not trying to help. but you would probably say i sold you a bad lighting set, or maybe it was to hard for you to connect Last edited by Daceman; 05-24-2008 at 08:36 AM. |
