Question hair algae help

hey guys need some help with my new 30g tank. been up and running for about 2 nad a half months.

all of a sudden i am battling some hair algae.

parameters are:

trate = 0
amonia = 0
trite = 0
phos = 0

i use ro/di water
and i use t5ho lighting.

live stock include
zoos
gsp
cleaner shrimp
perc clown
PJ cardinal

any and all help would be appreciated on how to get rid of this.

you have a phosban reacctor ? your nitrate's are probably realy high. also do you feed with frozen food ? if so do you rinse the food ?

but my phos is 0. will try a reactor. and my nitrates are 0.

yes i do use frozen ood and no i dont rinse it b4.

No such thing as Zero phosphates.How are you testing for it?The hair algae is sucking it up.I had to get two reactors and pull out the crap to get it under control.

Get a sea hare this will take care of the hair algae. But I would recommend the phosban reactor 1st.

Two little fishes phosban reactor with the rowaphos media, i've tried everything there is out there and beleive me this works.

Also does your ro-di unit have a tds meter, that would be helpful in knowing if your ro-di unit's filter needs changing and if the water that it's producing is good enough.......
