I have a 24G nano and this is the one I have been using for 2 years, since it came on the market. I love it and it has worked like a charm. Keeping my water a nice 78-78.5 degrees. It's quiet, produces little heat and is way better than keeping your air on. I live in a studio which is not air conditioned during the day(to save money) and the tank never get too hot. I also run HQI lights which produce mad heat. Mini-Arctica & Nano-Arctica Titanium Chillers. 1/15hp Compact aquarium chillers house a powerful, energy-efficient cooling system. Unlike thermoelectric chillers, Arctica chillers rely on revolutionary nano compressor technology to offer reliable water-cooling performance. A state-of-the-art titanium heat exchanger is paired with ozone-friendly refrigerant to ensure reliable temperature drop down. Integrated, analog temperature controller and probe maintains set temperature within ±1°F. Condenser grill is located in front for maximum airflow and convenient maintenance. Barbed 1/2" connections for quick and convenient installation. Measures 7-3/4" x 12-1/2" x 14" high. Requires appropriately sized water pump and tubing (sold separately). JBJ sells them as well as Dr. Fosters online. Just my little piece of advice. Make sure you figure out what size pump you need, that is very important to pull and push the water out of the chiller. |

The 1260 is a good fit for the chiller, since this setup is more like a closed loop or canister filter your head loss is almost zero so you'll get the full 640GPH
