my current protein skimmer is an octopus 150 nw recirculating skimmer

the t2 is rated up to 300g.... and since i have a fairly heavy bioload i would want whatever is best for my system

They all leak. It maybe ok if you run it in sump. My neighborhood LFS has one, leaked from day 1.

What size is your tank?
My first skimmer was the Terminator 2, I loved it & ran it externally, it never leaked a drop I only upgrade due to the size of my tank.

IMO They suck! I installed one on a new setup and boy did I regret it. Thank god it was a FO with little bioload. Never again did I recommend that skimmer to anyone!

POS IMO. I would save up and get a better skimmer, or as someone in MR to lend you think something while you are getting ready for a new skimmer that is not the Terminator II
