I will make sure I sing him to sleep as well so that he doesn't miss his old home

by the way, does it have a name? I want to make sure I introduce him properly to the others in the sand box.

Ok Ronen, you're on. Did you want anything in that ginger ale?

Enjoy tha parade on your way over...

his name is Spikey (or Spike for short) - full name (for tax purposes) is actually Spikael - but we've never used that name, so he may not even be aware of it.

He looks so sad in the jar on my desk now. in the past 2 days he went from a 187 gallon tank, to a 20 gallon tank to a 1/2 gallon jar - poor guy.

i want visitation rights btw...

How big is the jar? I also brought a container to work with some of my salt water to start the acclimation process....

ooh, sounds like you are already planning ahead to take good care of him.
Thanks Ron! - I just told him and he is really excited to meet you.

The jar is the 1kg of Seachem Kalkwasser (minus the kalk) jar - if you know the size. (maybe 8" deep and 4" diameter)

i prefer transport by jar than by bag as he gets squished around less, and can actually swim around a bit. of course there is the added advantage of opening the lid so he can get fresh air. not to mention to get to watch him on your desk all day...

ok, guess you left, see you in 10...9...

Great meeting you Ron!
I'm sure he'll love his new friends!

the first time you feed him, watch him, you'll love how he SNAPS up the krill from the surface.

and dont worry about the tangs, he's been living with two tangs in my tank, they dont seem to even notice him, he just minds his own business.

he must be loving all the attention.

i smell new memebers joining now...

just be careful, it's enough that you are on this site all day, you cant have your whole office posting on reef boards all day or there will be nobody left doing all the work..
