Well i don't like those tube water things, if the bird happens to drop a colored pellet or something in the water, then the water is no good. It does happen trust me, used to happen to me, i was a user now im not.

I always find someone to leave my birds with. Mine are really messy so I know I need someone to change their food and water regularly. My parakeets are a pair but they still like their single attention alot. Just my .02

I would have someone at least check on the birds once a day.
I would not risk the water supply going bad as kris said. also if you cover the cage at night they would be used to that routine.

tes guys they are messy and those water sticks suck like nano said i pellet done
