Greg Hiller's SPS available for the joint meeting Aug 16, Atlantis

I can bring any of these to the Joint meeting between LIRA, CTARS, BRS, and Manhattan Reefs on August 16th at Atlantis Aquarium on Long Island.

I'm willing to trade for certain super colorful stuff, but only if I see a decent photo first, 95% of the time I trade I'm a bit disappointed.

Please use EMAIL if interested: corals ( at]. greg hiller dot com (remove all the spaces, etc.)

1. The 'Blueberry' Acro. Photo taken from above. Acropora with blue-higlighted coralites. Originally from Dr. Mac, I obtained it from a local hobbyist. $30 for a 1" frag - not necessarily encrusted - I only have a few available

2. The 'Mike Accardi' teal staghorn Acropora. Very fast growth, wide open staghorn growth form with thick branches. - $25 for a 2" frag - likely will be encrusted

3. Porites cylindrica (might even be Montipora?)? - Branching and encrusting yellow porites originally from Papua New Guinea - 2" frag $25 - only a few available

Mother colony:

Typical fragment:

SPS from Greg H. #2

4. The 'Palau' Acropora. Pink with blueish tips (under MH), encrusts green. - $20 for a 1" well encrusted frag:

5. The 'Aquadelight' Acropora - table top form - $25 for a 1-2" frag

Photo of moderate sized colony under 20K metal halide:

Closeup image:

6. Cindy's Montipora aequituberculata - a 'Tyree' limited addition coral - green whorling structure that forms projections along the surface - very fast growing and maintains bright green color under a variety of conditions: - $25 for a 2" frag

7. Montipora hispida - Green with large bright green polyps that extend away from skeleton. Grows as large whorls with finger like projections that extend up from the surface of the coral. - $20 for a 2" fragment

Small colony:

Larger colony showing more of the digitate projections:

8. Tyree Limited Edition Montipora palawanensis - photo that shows the unusual morphology of the surface of the coral. $30 for a 2" frag - limited number

9. Purple M. cap frags (might actually be M. foliosa, or M. deliculata). This colony is purple with purple polyps and grows very fast. Best color under 20K MH. Forms a beautiful whorled structure. - $20 for a 2" frag
Frag under a 10 K XM 175 W metal halide

10. 'Superman' encrusting Montipora. Purple with red polyps. Maintains its color under a wide variety of conditions - 1/2" diameter frags - $30 - these may be freshly cut frags from the mother colony, but will be healed

Photo taken from main colony in my 400 gallon SPS tank under 14 K Phoenix bulbs:

11. Teal M. digitata. A fast grower with thicker than usual branches for an M. digitata. $15 for a 2" fragment.

12. Also below, lower right edge of photo, green with blue tips staghorn Acropora - $20 for a 2+" frag, might be freshly cut

13. Jake's pink and green Acropora - very slow growing, believed to be table top form Acropora. Under some conditions develops contrasting green color between the branches for a stunning look. - $35 for a super encrusted frag with 1" branch(s) - very limited number available

Main colony:

Typical look of a small fragment:

14. Purple flower petal M. cap. Looks like the Tyree L.E. but I do not know the 'lineage' of this particular coral - $25 for a 1-2" frag - might be freshly cut, though healed frags.

This colony is pale green with a purple edge, and bright blue/purple polyps which extend from the surface of the colony. Forms a beautiful whorled structure.

Photo of mother colony under 14 K Phoenix metal halide bulbs:

Photo of small frag under 10 K metal halide:

15. Larry Jackson's Purple tip Acropora - 2-3" colonies with multiple branches - $25

16. Purple with green polyps Acropora - $25 per 2" fragment, well encrusted

17. Orange M. cap - $20 per 2" fragment

18. Montipora undata - green with purple highlights and green polyps - might be my fav! - I'll be taking fresh fragments from this $30 per 1/2 square fragment - will be healed, but not encrusted

Photo taken under 20 K MH:
