No I don't recommend it. Its a PIA to keep clean.
I dont recommend it at all, especially for something bigger than 10g.
I'm referring to the Tahitian Moon Sand (black). Because it has no buffering capabilities.

Dr.Foster sells another black type sand that's called "Grey Coast" or something like that. It has buffering qualities and I would recommend you getting that if you go black. Its a better option than the sand I used.

Im not worried about the buffering, but keeping it clean. I was thinking of using black in the aquapod; since the tankhas all black trim and hood.
