most people will keep clams under 250watt Metal halide lights and up. there are also t5 bulbs that can work.

hey did you see the new low tanks glass cages was making for coral?
I thought of you when I saw them, they would be cool for top down clam viewing tanks. imagine three of them overflowing into one and other, that would be cool, like a little clam lagoon.

those tanks look nice, but you can get a clam tank. from 4 in up from the bottom of the tank going up, they bend the glass at a 5 degree angle and it give the same look as a top down view. Barry used to sell them. you can see a pic of one on his home page, top right corner is a pic of a clam tank. you can see the bend in the tank.
