Reefer Ratings: (6) Friends: (0) | My 90 Gallon Tank!
Upgrading my 3 month old 55 Gallon to a 90 Gallon tank/stand I bought off craigslist a few weeks ago. Looking to make this an SPS dominated tank on top with LPS on bottom. Jim was here tonight to Silicone the custom black acrylic overflow box. He has also been guiding me with the new set up. I will be using my exisiting lights from my 55 Gallon (Aquavim 2 250W MH, 2 54W T5s) and Euroreef RS80 Skimmer, JBJ 1/10 HP Artica Chiller. Everything else is new. I will be using the Gen-X PCX 40 For the return, the chiller, and 2 reactors, one for phosphate, one for carbon. Aqua Medic sp3000 for my ATO, and 2 Tunze 6000 with the multicontroller for flow and a 30 Gallon Cstom Baffled sump drilled for return. 100 LBS of live rock and substrate will be my existing 60 pounds of Caribsea Live sand, and 100 Pounds of ESV Fine Grade" Ultra-White Calcium Carbonate Reef Substrate. Now that the overflow is in, we are ready to setup which will be New Years Day! Here are some pictures from today. |

Thanks...very excited for it..MR members and HOF has helped me out so much in 3-4 months. I am amazed at how much I have learned, but also at how much more there is to learn. Looking forward to doing it right this time around! Thanks for the support. |
