The redesign of my 11yr.old reef.

2 quick shots of todays redesign of my 11yr.old 125g. reef. We took out roughly 25-30lbs of rock and hacked out about a waste bin worth of dead coral branches in an effort to increase flow and light penetration through out the reef. We also replaced an old MH canopy with 3 MH pendants and the superior reflectors have made a huge difference in intensity. These are not the lamps I will ultimately use, just a few I had laying around, but they sure are bright and white. Thanks to Tristan, Tosiek, Leo and Aaron for lending a hand.

? Im still trying to figure out what the redesign was. The pics show the same tank design.

How long have you had that trigger in your tank?

Looks much cleaner & brighter Randy. Getting all those branches out really opened it up! Good for you

Thanks everyone. Sorry i'll try to find a before picture somewhere. The trigger has been in there for about 3 years and doesn't bother a thing --unless you are a hermit crab or shrimp. Yes those are Vortechs. I was an early adopter and use them on all my systems -- 6 pumps total.
