Russ--- yea I wasn't going on the LFS recommendation on feeding that guy and just taking things at a snails pace still. I figure they would like to see me fail as then I would spend more and more... been there done that, fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.

LMAO good luck with that one Reefsaint... glad to say the only problems me and hubby have is the coming to an agreement on what actually goes in the tank. He wasn't thrilled with the idea of a worm... but as you can see there is one in the tank and oddly enough he likes it now and would like a red one. Go figure. Maybe you should just start knocking holes in the wall???

Out with the old (it's about time) and in with the new....

If any fish can jump higher than this... they deserve to floor surf j/k but this should do the trick

Got some very cool in tank editions today at the swap, which was a blast. Have to see about getting pics tomorrow though. Finally feel like things are progressing, it's really awesome!!

Great to finally put a face with a name and meeting you. You won't believe this, we never talked about it and prior to you I was the only one I've seen build a 'fish jumping barrier' with vertical light diffuser. It works great and doesn't interfere with any of the light that we spend so damn much on.

Looks like things are shaping up there. Keep those pix coming.

Thanks for the "move"

Update: We have several additions now and all are doing really well. This is most certainly one of the most stressful ventures though... both the cleaner shrimp and the blood shrimp decided to molt within a day of one another, and both times I thought they had gotten chopped up by the Vortech. Thankfully I had spoken to some people and also read that anemones curl up small when they are about to "go" so that didn't freak me out.

Here are some pics... not the greatest but until we get a better camera or I learn how to finally use this one it's as good as it gets.

The bottom half of the tank is pretty busy with zoas, rics, brain, hammer, fox, polys, mushrooms, pulsing xenia, clam, but the top half of the tank is pretty empty. It takes a lot to fill up a 120g Can't wait though, but 'trying' to take it as slow as possible. Thankfully the coralline is producing well there are spots on every rock now, some small some nearly entire areas of the rocks. Also some has started on the overflow Now if only it didn't like the glass for one reason or another life would be perfect LOL.

Very nice additions Sybil. Keep the faith, don't view it as a chore and it will be less stressful. Just take good care of 'your new little ones'.
