Just a question ,why do you need one for your reef ? Are you have ich or algea problems ? I have my reef tank for over 2 years now ,never used a UV on it ,On my Fish only when i had I used one ,BUt for reef tanks not ness |

Did you try a large WC and running carbon and some poly filters ,cant hurt to try before gettting a UV which will heat your tank up a bit more |
