I just want to make some moon lights. I particularly like the keychain LED that boston aqua farms used. It makes things really glow.. if you can get those LEDs.. and make it something that plugs into a wall socket instead of battery. I have one if it helps to see what type of LED it is

How big (dimensions) is you tank and how bright you want? I can calculate the light output and what you need.

The ones you mentioned are very narrow angled leds-kind of like 30 degrees or even less after the lens.

The factory did not make SPY LED Light but I can custom make them. I can make improved versions of the ones I posted in the thread at $15 first module, and $10 here after with splash guard. $5 for a DIY connector compatible to most ac/dc adapter. If you are really lazy to get you own ac/dc adapter, I have one that is about $15.

Or I can make a long version with splash guard that spend the whole top of your tank and mount onto the canopy with zip ties by yourself. i will need to know the dimension of your tank.

1 per 2 square feet is good so I think 6 is fine for a even spread of view. Minimum 4 is suggested.

My tank is a 75 gallon tank so 4 feet long. They are narrow angled, adding more LED's would be better to get a full spread. I would like it bright enough that it'll make the corals glow and probably have some ambient light splashing into the room as a night light so I can see my way around at night.

In that case you probably need,
6 modules of ~.6W each. build into 3 splash guards
1 jack
1 ac/dc adapter
~$80 total built

I probably can put a sensitive dimmer too(depends if I can find a suitable one around) for $20
Not sensitive ones could be free as long as I have them around

Expect light output more than 3 of the PFO 1W Moon Light(3 x 50 => $150) and much more even than the 3 PFOs

or if you don't require the light to be very even go for #4 I am selling in this thread $32(96led light) + $5 (jack) + $15AC/Adapter No need of resistor and too easy to connect yourself.

I can get it in this group buy too.
