I need to test my PO4 but I've been noticing a lot more algea growth since dosing the phyto feast. Pods are out of control which is great... but I need to find a good balance. Unfortunately the algea of choice is bubble :smash: , so I'm battling that right now.

I've been dosing between 3 and 5 teaspoons nightly in my 100g (130g of water)

Is it weird that I love the way it smells? :flower:

What is the best PO4 test?... all I have is a salifert which always ready 0 or .02.

the salifert Po4 test is not great for low end testing.
the color range is too tough to read .

I tried the seachem kit after that, a little bit better, but not by much.

Then I got the ROWA Merck test kit, now were talking.
This kit really works great and is worth the money imo.

then Matt had to start his "hanna meter convince me thread" and it convinced me to get one :lol2:
I still have to test it alongside the Merck kit.

I was using DT for almost a year and recently decided to give phytofeast a try. It definitely smells better and a small bottle seems to last longer. As to growth effects....hard to say which is better. For those in north NJ, fishtown in Ramsey carries all reef nutrition products at the same prices as found on the internet. You save on shipping costs which is always nice.
