Devil's Hand Tissue Necrosis?

While I was away, my frag rack fell over and shaded some corals, including part of my devil's hand. It looks like I'm losing a chunk of tissue on the back. Is it better to chop it off, or leave it and hope it regenerates?

I say chop it - once that starts to get a fungal like quality, it spreads quickly - it does look like polyps are coming out though, so, you might want to give it a few days before making the decision to see if it bounces back.

Lissa..I'd leave it be for a few days in decent flow and see what it does. My Devils Hand(s) sometimes look like that when something bumps them, and then they perk back up after a few days. As Jim said, those polyps look promising
If it doesn't work out and you have to chop it - they do heal up very well.

Okay, I'll give it a few more days. The tissue there definitely looks different than the tissue when the coral "pouts".
