Advice on moving some zoos

I have a mag rack (eggcrate on magnets) and use it for propagating zoanthids on plugs. well I have a really nice couple of frags of devils armor and when I took one of the rack, it seems that a polyp decided to stay on the eggcrate. Fast forward a month or two and now it has become a thriving little colony that is stuck on the eggcrate.

Any suggestions on how I can successfully remove these zoo's and get them on a plug so that I wont lose use of this rack (or cut it up), and can start a fresh plugged colony?

Use a really sharp razor blade. You might lose the first polyp that attached though. The others should be fine
Please do wear gloves & glasses when fragging zoas!

do you think that i should try to cut under the mat, and what, rubberband it on a new plug?

how much of it is stuck to the rack?
Once you get it off, you can just glue it onto a piece of rubble.

May as well hack it off at ths point before more grow & stick to the eggcrate.
I wouldn't worry too much about the ones that get damaged as there is nothing you can do about that, and they can't stay there...
