New pics Dont know if you can see the white pic is the underside of the red monti and there is a few brownish specs on it that i dont remember see before.
Tested the water and the ph was 8.2 the alk dropped from 8.9 on 7/11, to 7.9on 7/20, to 3.5 in todays test. Why would it be dropping so fast. I use the recommended amount of daily additive with the calcium.
No amon, nitrate or nitites the phosphates are 0. I added the carbon last week in the reactor. And the cal is 420.

I have a question along the same line as this thread if no one mnds me asking? Would oppose sg levels meaning like 1.027-1.028 but low alk do the same thing. Because I am having a bleaching problem my self. Just curious I will start a thread as well.

I would think yes. I found out my calcium levels were to high and bring down my alk. I have stopped adding calcium for one week now have done 2 10% water changes and have been add extra alk. I finally got my alk up to around 10 and my monti cap is doing great. No more white spots and has lots of new growth.
