Would this sump Mod work?

I picked up a Proflex4 for a REDICULOUS price today. Kills a bunch of birds with one stone for me. I REALLY like the sump save for one issue. I want to feed the fuge area separately to control flow. The I-Tech is a beast and needs a lot of room so I want to place it in the center section. I am thinking of creating a new fuge area as shown in the image. I don't see why this wouldn't work but wanted some input on it. I create a separate return section by doing this and gain a fuge area.

PLEASE excuse the 2nd grade paint drawing. Not feeling good today and the shakes are bad.

Not an expert by any means but i dont see why that couldnt work. So long as your water level in you return section is lower than fuge section.

Thanks guys. Just shot Rich a PM. Jeremy yeah, going to split the tank drain so 1 side feeds the Fuge. Using a ball valve to control flow. Same setup I had on the 40 sump I made.

yep that would work, just make sure the acrylic is cut to exact size, so you can bond it and not have any issues with a leak.
