Hello,
I'm having trouble to pick the skimmer for my 24g cube tank.
It's gonna be a SPS tank. Many of them are way oversized.
It has to be in-sump skimmer.
So far I' considering:

1- Tunze 9004
2- Aquamaxx Ws-1
3 - IceCap K2-50
4 - Any other one I didn't mention here.

Thank you! :)

I?m using icecap k1 nano in my 15 gallon cube with mix reef and all my sps doing great. I?m trying to say that bigger is better and for future

The tunze 9004 is a great skimmer, as is the Aquamaxx. By the way, bigger is not always better for skimmers. You want the skimmer to be properly matched to the system. If it?s too big it will be inconsistent.

I had a tough time searching for a skimmer that had a small foot print for my Waterbox 40.1 which is roughly 22~24 gallon cube. I know that I wanted a DC skimmer so my choices were Tunze DC 9004
Simplicity DC120
Skimz SN127

I ended up getting the Skimz, took a long time to break in which is what I read about with these skimmers and it's been working great for a year now.

I picked the Aquamaxx ws1. One of the reasons is because of the small footprint, it fits perfectly in my sump. i'm opening a new thread tough because there is a piece of bubble wrap inside and it seems odd to me. Thanks.
