Not at a $/performance bases.. plus the H&S U.S. distributor is much nicer to deal with, BK distributor won't deal with warranty or spares directly with the end user.

The cone skimmer sure has a lot of "hype", I ran the thing for two months and it's "blah...". I don't see any performance gain with the cone, you lose reaction\contact space and time with a taper shaped body.

Been running the DAS EX-1 in my apartment for over 3 years now. Still producing great results in my <100gal total volume mixed reef. I have alot, I mean alot of fishes in there, so my bio load is huge. The DAS EX-1 produce about a liter worth of waste in a week.

Took an old H&S A200-1260 from a FOWLR that was replaced to my apartment to see how much more it can pull out. In 3 days, it already produced more then 1 liter worth of waste! What a dirty tank I have...

ETSS 1000.....$#@&ing loving it! I just put it on my tank about a week and a half ago and it has already pulled out 4 full collection cups of choc milkshake. The collection cup is 6" round by 1' tall. what you see in it now was collected in 3 days. Before i had this on the tank i had a Berlin 250<---JUNK. Sorry about the crappy pics, its a cell camera.

i bought this skimmer and im surprised on the quality. so far so good. very small footprint also.
the importer is also located around Bensonherst Brooklyn

Mr X. MSX is not the clone to Reef Octopus. SWC (Salt Water Connection, a Canadian Company) makes MSX skimmers(which just throws a new label on them). Reef Octopus is brand name of Vue Technologies LLC (Coralvue)

bubble magus nac6 2weeks in

2 weeks in and its skimming even better i am not dissappointed
tank is about 50 gallon total water volume .. lightly stocked right now

I need some advice asap I need to know if the bermuda aquatics bps-3c is a good skimmer. I found a guy selling 1 for about 150 I can probably get him down a few bucks. I know it retails for atleast 300 so price wise it's pretty good. I just need to know if it's worth it. I will be starting my 1st saltwater tank with an acrylic 125 flatback hex. The guy lives about 2 hours from me but I have to go towards that direction anyway for something else work related so I need an answer asap because I don't want to take that mission again lol

RO EXT 160 modded with BB HY-2000s

Hi guys
I just received my new Bubble Blaster to replace the Sicce on my EXT-160 and installed it today. Here are a few pics of the pump install, I'm going to install it in the sump tomorrow then I'll take some pics of it in action and post them. This is on a 120 with 30 gal sump.

bermuda 3 isn't going to be big enough. isn't big enough for that size tank. u looking to save money and spend again or just buy once ?
