Well I have been trying for a while to raise the seahorse fry. I'm giving it a go once again. This batch of fry were born on Monday (April 13th).

Chris is what I would call a EKG type of hobbyist. He has his peaks and valleys in regards to addiction interest of the hobby. But he's been like that for probably 20 years. :biglaugh:

Thanks Teddy. I fixed the date.

I built a special tank to raise them in so I am optimistic this time. I did screw up having food available but I am hoping the BBS are enough to hold them over until tomorrow.

Wouldn't Baby Brine shrimp be okay with those little guys? I thought you had a hatchery

I have two hatcheries but I worry about the nutritional value. I have a ton of BBS in a container full of live phyto and a special rotifer feed so hopefully that is good enough for now.

I wanted to take a 1 week old video but I'm traveling tomorrow so I took a quick video today. I've had very little die off which is a great sign. You can see in the video I still have well over a 100 fry left.

I added some locally collected pods and some egg carrying grass shrimp. The fry are eating copepods that are all over the glass in the tank in addition to several feedings of fortified BBS. Keep those fingers crossed
