I'll try to get a pic but I don't think I can get close enough to get these spiky things in focus. Maybe it's from attacking a bristleworm? Is that possible? The blenny uses a hole in my rock to hide and sleep. In the past I've seen a bristleworm come out of this hole and sometimes my blenny bites at his back fin (maybe because of the worm buggin him).
I've seen my 6-line wrasse with the same thing in the past and I treated it (if it even needed treatment) with a combo of Melafix and Pimafix. Today, I can tell something is still there but the long clear spike-looking threads are gone without treating the water.
I'd just like to know what I'm dealing with here and was hoping it sounded familiar to someone without supplying pics
