My dam overflow is so loud, obviously i have a overflow with U tube and its plumbed into my sump via PVC but its so annoying, esp being in my room..my temp solution has been to put poly pad covering a portion of the pvc where the water flows into and it has worked for some time, but when the poly pad gets dirty guess what even more annoying water flow noises...is there any real way to shut it up? I tried using one of those filters designed for the overflow but it doesnt really work, my pvc hole is 1" and its kinda tight

I have a piece of plastic covering mine and I keep a towel (neatly rolled) on the plastic which muffles the noise out. Since it's in the back it's not visible and it runs quiet. Less air = less noise....(some overlfow boxes come with a lid)

Question about the Gurgle buster thing, do you loose flowrate???

Question, Would anyone be willing to build a Stockman Pipe set-up for me? I have the most minimal of tools at home and could really use on. Let me know how much you would want for it. Also so they really work as great as everyone says?
